Database Administrator is needed to perform the following duties:

• Work on Agile, Scrum software development environment and Application Lifecycle Management. Hands-on experience in cloud IAAS.
• Configure and Implement Spectrum Protect (TSM) technologies like LAN-free, NDMP, TDP, DRM, HSM etc.
• Manage a team of 15 L1 - L2 support for Spectrum Protect (TSM) off site and 5 L1-L2 on-site support for around 200+ TSM servers globally for Ford.
• Architect, Design, Implement and Code technologies to improve reliability of backups, achieving a 99% success rate for backups.
• Custom reporting on Web Portals and Tools such as Grafana, Splunk etc.
• Work on EMC Avamar data backup process.
• Work on Veritas Netbackup.
• Maintain and update documentation for standards, processes, and procedures.
• Extensive experience with APIs, Knowledge APIs development in IBM API Connect.
• Experience with security frameworks API, token management and user access control, including OAuth, JWT, etc.
• 2+ years experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Experience with container-based deployments using Docker, Docker images, Docker hub and Docker registries.
• Experience working in Linux environments with Containers.
• Experience in Automation of Build & Release systems.
• Extensive experience implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using Jenkins.
• Creating deployment scripts using PowerShell and automating multiple daily and maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency in using vSphere, vCloud Suite / vRealize suite (vRops, Log Insight, vRO, vRA/vCAC), VMware Virtual SAN (vSAN).
• Experience in SDLC from mission statement to product release.
• Provide production support in an on-call rotation in a 24x7x365 environment for Storage and Backup.
